The placements in SRM is very good as up to 125 companies conducted the campus interview. But, some companies provide a low salary package, so the students have to decide whether to attend the interview in such companies. All the students are capable of getting placed in the campus interview. But, once if you are placed in a particular company, you cannot attend any more interviews except for your dream company.

However, comparing the placement of both the colleges, I would rate SRM University, Chennai better than RV College of Engineering. In RV College of Engineering, mostly students of computer-related fields are able to get placed in a company of the same field. However, in SRM University, major companies of all fields recruit students. Therefore, I would suggest you opt for SRM University rather than RV College of Engineering.
