Both colleges are at par and average Salary is almost same, though AMET is better brand to pursue.

No there is no such exchanges happening at the moment, but there is a tie up with MDIS Singapore and students are taken to Singapore institutions and industries for about 10 days and various other curriculum matters.
As till now there is no such foreign exchange occurring.Sometimes a tie up with MDIS can make it happen in coming years there is possibility.

Around 80% got placed before they passed out from the college.
And around 8-10 companies came for recruitment in which likes of giants like Amazon and DHL were present among them.
And probably next year college will be trying to tie up their placement along with CII, which can bring in more companies than ever in the college till now, So if the tie up happens then there will be a huge boost for the placement and intern-ship processes in college.

Infrastructure is pretty good. And the placements done last year was 80% rest all went abroad and so.

College has all basic amenities from a well functioning library to a good maintained swimming pool, gym, etc.
Most of the students get placed either at the time of project work itself.

just go for it man .Right field chosen by you having a lot of scope , I'm a marine engineer too and I know about the scope of the field but first check the guidelines laid down by DG shipping whether you are fulfilling or not.If you want to go in deck cadet your eyesight must be 6 on 6 with no night blindness and if you want to become engineer on ship a little relaxation is given to eye sight so first check all the guidelines and go apply I will advice you to give IMU CET so that you can crack govt institute for marine engineering otherwise private colleges are there but be careful in choosing colleges and you can seek my help too.so Best of luck and feel free to ask.
