Yes, VELS University admissions are now open for 2026-27 AY. The university is accepting applications for all of its courses. VELS University applications will be open till August 2026. Students can apply through the university's official portal.

At the undergraduate level, VELS Institute of Science Technology & Advanced Studies offers three to four-year B.Tech in various specialisations. Admissions to various undergraduate courses are based on merit and entrance exam scores. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech is Class 12 with a minimum of 45% to 60 % and the accepted entrance exams are VEE and others. The fee for the B.Tech course is INR 2.59 Lacs to INR 11.62 Lacs. The VELS Institute of Science Technology & Advanced Studies offers various other courses to students like M.Tech, M.Sc. And others. The university gives an option to students to select from any course and the application fee will be charged accordingly for the same.

Before Commencement of Program: Application for withdrawal from the program
is to be sent to the Admission Office.
After Commencement of Program: Application for withdrawal from the program
is to be submitted to the Registrar through the respective department. The application will
be processed within 15 days. There shall not be any fee at the time of submitting
application. A candidate who wishes to withdraw from the Institute after enrolling in the program must obtain a 'No Dues' Certificate from their respective school of study at VISTAS in order to retrieve their certificates.This should be accompanied by the application for withdrawal duly signed by the Parent/Guardian and the original fee receipt and provisional admission
letter ( e-mail request will not be considered ).
The certificates will be issued only on production of the 'No-Dues' Certificate in the prescribed
form, obtained from the Admissions Office.

 BSc is a three-year course divided into six semesters. VISTAS offer BSc course through School of Maritime Studies, School of Life Sciences, School of Computer Sciences, School of Hotel & Catering Management, School of Basic Sciences and Department of Aviation. BSc is available in 19 specialisations, namely Nautical Science, Maritime Operations,  Applied Medical Biotechnology & Clinical Research, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, etc. Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent exam can apply for the BSc specialisation of their choice. 

Admission to BSc course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The selected candidates based on the merit are called for counselling and document verification round. Candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university. The total tuition fee for BSc ranges between INR 21,000 and INR 26.40 Lacs as per an unofficial source.
