VIT is well known for its BTech placements. It offers good placements every year for BTech course, especially the CSE and ECE branch. VIT Vellore's campus is very huge as it is spread across 372 acres. The campus has state-of-the-art labs and a central library. The library has a collection of over 2.4 Lacs books. All the classrooms are fully equipped with smart boards and installed with an IT system. Hostels have single-person rooms to six-bed rooms at Vellore Institute of Technology. Out of these, 18 hostels are for boys and six for girls. These hostels can accommodate over 22,000 students. Facilities such as AC and non-AC single and shared rooms, 24*7 water and power supply, in-house residential counsellors, wardens, supervisors, mess, café, and round-the-day security among others are offered at the campus.
