According to a few students, there is no life in college, as you feel totally alienated. Lots of restrictions and rules along with academic downfalls all add up to depression. Unless you find your troops it's really hard to survive here. You will not be allowed to go out or out of your hostel post 9 pm. Heavy academic schedules, classes, and assignments add a lot of pressure. If you are an above-average student like me (80 - 90%) in schooling you will find backlogs quite common. Your 90 marks will suddenly turn out to be 45 which brings a lot of happiness to your face. But ultimately your placement is guaranteed. If you are a social person with a good academic background, then you can surely bear the pain. I would rather prefer other colleges which compete with VIT Chennai on the same level.

VIT Business School Vellore is good. The school has a well-equipped campus with modern facilities. The campus has a library, a computer center, a gym, a sports complex, and a hostel. The library has a collection of over 1 Lacs books and journals. The computer center has a state-of-the-art infrastructure with high-speed internet access. The gym has a variety of equipment for students to use. The sports complex has a swimming pool, a tennis court, a basketball court, and a football field. The hostel has comfortable rooms with attached bathrooms. The B-school also has a number of other facilities, such as a cafeteria, a medical center, and a guest house.

On my personal experience I would once again suggest Computer Science core or with specializations receive the first royal treatment in terms of difficulty and placements.
