The duration of the course is two years and syllabus is divided into two semesters M.Sc. Biotechnology: As a minimum criterion of eligibility, aspiring candidates are needed to have attained a Bachelor's degree in any of Physics, Biological Sciences, BAMS, BHMS, BPT and any other related discipline, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.

There are nearly 500 students in this course I think 90 percent of students were placed. The salary package starts at 3 lacs to 20 lacs. Many companies come to vit university like Google, HP, TCS, IBM.
