Yes, you may get CSE core because CSE core seats are full till rank 7000 but you will get CSE with specialisation but in my opinion, it is better to take IT branch because syllabus are same and placement wise also CSE core and IT branch both are beneficial. No. You will not get it in Vellore or Chennai but you may get it in Bhopal campus because it is opened recently and there is not much demand for that campus of VIT. Hope this helps. For admission, you need to fulfil the following criteria:
The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1994, if he/she belongs to the open or OBC-NCL category and, on or after October 1, 1988, if he/she belongs to the SC, ST or PwD category.
The candidate should have qualified i.e. obtained a rank in UCEED 2018. The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (class 12th or equivalent) in 2017 or 2018. Those who appeared for the first time in the qualifying examination in 2017 or earlier are not eligible, I don't know much about this.

Try to give VIT entrance exam and trust me, its easy to crack. But if somehow you do not get less than 10k rank the category 5 (management) is open.

This is the newest campus of VIT and last year students got CSE below 1 Lacs rank easily and I think, its not better option to take admission in Bhopal campus because fees structure similar to VIT Vellore and Chennai campus somewhat. And its infrastructure not fully completed and still its under development.
If you think to take admission in VIT, then you should refer Vellore or Chennai campus now and if you are not getting this campus, then you should try other university or college. No difference in the package. Infact, you may get more than B.Tech Comp Science grads, as a few companies may treat you as Post Graduate. Once you are an engineer or in the process of becoming one.
