Lovely Professional University (LPU) is often considered a better option compared to Poornima University for many students, particularly in terms of scale, exposure, and long‑term opportunities. LPU is one of the largest private universities Lovely Professional University (LPU) is often considered a better option compared to Poornima University for many students, particularly in terms of scale, exposure, and long‑term opportunities. LPU is one of the largest private universities in India, offering a wide range of programs across engineering, management, law, design, pharmacy, agriculture, and more, which means students have greater flexibility to explore interdisciplinary learning and switch interests if needed. The infrastructure at LPU is extensive, with modern labs, industry‑standard facilities, research centers, and a vibrant campus culture that supports both academic and extracurricular growth. The university's emphasis on industry exposure through internships, live projects, guest lectures, and collaborations tends to be broader because of its established partnerships across multiple sectors, giving students a chance to build practical skills and professional networks. LPU's placement ecosystem is typically larger in terms of the number of recruiting companies and diversity of job roles offered, attracting employers from IT, finance, consulting, core engineering, FMCG, and other fields. This often translates into a higher number of placement opportunities and competitive salary packages, especially for students who actively engage with training and career services. Additionally, LPU's alumni network is extensive and geographically dispersed, which can help with mentorship and job referrals after graduation. While Poornima University has its strengths and has produced successful graduates, the overall breadth of programs, infrastructure, industry linkage, and placement reach at LPU generally gives it an edge for students who want wide options and strong exposure during their academic journey.

Hi, I would recommend LPU. There are different courses in commerce in LPU. They are1) B.Com2) B.Com. (Management Accounting and International Finance )3) B.Com (Hons. )4) Dual Degree B.Com (Hons. ) MBA5) Integrated B.Com-MBAMy friend's sister is studying B.Com from LPU and at present, she is 2nd year. Her words are- LPU does not compromise with the education at any cost. Even during the lockdown period, their classes were held online according to the time table. This is what a student wants. Moreover, A large number of opportunities for pursuing industry delivered certifications are available to our students. Some of the major certifications include NCFM and NCCMP (in tie-up with NSE), CMA (in tie-up with IMA, USA), SAP (German Multinational Software certification), and so on. Such certifications help to make the students' industry ready and enhance their employability potential. Good track record of placement of students in companies like Amazon, Trident Group, Royal Bank of Scotland, Concentrix, Wipro, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Decathlon Sports, Bajaj Allianz, Karvy Stock Broking etc. Hope this helps!

Choosing a college or University, lot of factors considered like ranking, infrastructure, curriculum, pedagogy, Faculty and most important placements. JERC, Poornima and LPU both are the renowned names in the Education Sector and both the institutes have their own place. But if talk of placements, LPU is the one of the top name. As per my experience over there, LPU is not only good for placements but also known for its best infrastructure, innovative pedagogy, Industry focused Academics, industry tie ups. Renowned companies like Amazon, Cognizant, Bosch, Capgemini, Trident, Hitachi, Josh, Xerox, CTS, Verizon and Tech Mahindra come for the campus recruitment. LPU alumni working with top fortune companies like Google, Apple, Yahoo, Microsoft, Bank of America etc. with packages of over 1 crore. Therefore, I strongly recommend LPU over the other two.
