See, basically VIT is a brand name in India and when it comes to study, placement they never compromise from it. They give best facilities to there students. It's totally upto the student whether to go for VIT Bhopal or VIT Amravati. According to me one should go for VIT Bhopal as it has many advantages. It has 100% doctoral faculty. Caltech based learning system. Studios in place of normal classrooms. First university to give unlimited internet access. Strategically located on Indore-Bhopal Highway, to attract companies from Mumbai, Pune, Indore, etc. So, it's better to take admission there

1. VIT rank is determined on the basis of percentile you scored in each subject.
2. Percentile is based on how you score in each subject compared to nearby computer system.
3. VIT does not disclose marks in each subject.
4 minimum 10 - 15 questions in exam are from previous year JEE main paper. So make sure you can solve previous year JEE main questions. I think this information will help you for VIT entrance exam

Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000 so you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well with each category admission fees go high. First category closed till 15,000 rank and you can get CSE till 9000 rank and IT till 11000 rank but there are 2nd category as well if you want CSE but you have to pay more for that. Bhopal and Amravati branches are opened recently so the rank to VIT university may go high as expected. Can't tell which branch you get but it's sure you will get any branch from higher category so you have to pay more for that. Coming to the placements at VIT, Vellore, it is awesome, and even we got a place in Limca book of records in the latest released records. We get more dream offers that is above 6 LPA. Mainly for this branch, we'll have an additional benefit of the post graduation degree in the hands, so we had a great chance of placing in good companies. But it creates the problem when all the branches of VIT like Chennai, Bhopal, and Amravati are dumped in Vellore for the placements, and you can't say hundred percent placement, but worthy ones will have many opportunities. Around 7000 placements are there in VIT, in which they are divided into 3 types, super dream, and regular. The average package is 4 LPA where nearly 365 to 400 students are selected. The super dream offer is greater than 15 LPA and 700 to 1200 students got placed in dream offer with the package of more than 10 LPA. The placements takes place yearly and various companies visit the campus.
