Your rank will be around 5000 something and you'll get CSE core branch in VITvellore. You can get decent placements in the main branches like CS IT. At my admission time, there was only Vellore and Chennai branch two years ago and these branches are recently opened by VIT. Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000 so you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well with each category admission fees go high. First category closed till 15,000 rank and you can get CSE till 9000 rank and IT till 11000 rank but there are 2nd category as well if you want CSE but you have to pay more for that. Bhopal and Amravati branches are opened recently so the rank to VIT university may go high as expected. Can't tell which branch you get but it's sure you will get any branch from higher category so you have to pay more for that.

Yes, you can get an educational loan for any college or university in India at a very low rate of interest, no matter the college is private or government. Mostly, the rate of interest on your loan starts only after graduation, that is, until you graduate, you won't be charged for any rate of interest. As per my knowledge, Union Bank of India provides educational loans at the lowest interest. You have to talk to the bank manager of UBI in your town/city.

Almost 90-95% of students get placement, in which 30% went for further study, and the rest joined the companies. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. The average is around 5-6 LPA. Hyundai, Ford, Mahindra, HP, Mercedes India, Indian Petroleum and few solar companies and wind farm companies visited the college. The internship is not so frequent here. You need to do it by yourself only.
