There is no separate procedure for B.Arch in VIT. You have to crack VITEEE-2018 and then in counseling round you will get the edge for B.Arch programme in VIT.

At my admission time, there was only Vellore and Chennai branch two years ago and these branches are recently opened by VIT. Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000. So, you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well with each category admission fees go high. First category closed till 15,000 rank and you can get CSE till 9000 rank and IT till 11000 rank but there are 2nd category as well if you want CSE but you have to pay more for that. Bhopal and Amravati branches are opened recently. So, the rank to VIT University may go high as expected. Can't tell which branch you get but it's sure you will get any branch from 6th category. So, you have to pay more for that.

The most important point is that DAIICT does't have computer science. The course is ICT- information and communication technology which is sort of combination of ECE and CS and some people can do minors in computational science which is different from computer science. If you speak of the coding world come join DA. I have friends in a couple of colleges you mentioned so according to me your preferential order could be
DAIICT, LNMIT, DTU, VIT, Nirma, Thapar. Hope this helps.

Normal M.Tech programme selection is done either directly through GATE or through initial GATE selection and further written test and interview. It is also called course programme, where students will be taking 12 to 14 courses (depends on the dept) to complete their course requirement, it is term-limited, you will have to complete within two years. Good for a job, also good for further studies, but you don't specialize much compared to M.Tech (research). Where students will be selected from initial GATE screening and the further research interview. M.Tech research is not term-limited, students are expected to complete within two to three years.
