There is no way of scoring marks and getting into VIT. Admission into VIT will be purely based on the VITEEE exam. And based on your rank, you will be given a chance to apply for the seat in VIT.

All the teachers are partly dependable. I speak from my personal experience. If the scripts are given to a different teacher, you may be disappointed. I suggest that you should do your best and then depend on your teacher.

VIT has a separate exam. It does not take admission on the basis of JEE.

Hello,
Anxiety about packages at the time of placements is an activity, that every student has to undergo. But anxiety should spur you into doing better and not bogging you down.
Packages are strictly a function of demand & supply. Also, your academics. Employers surely will like to get best value for their money. Hence top packages are offered only to 1 or 2 students.
Presently, IT rules the roost & if you are in top five of your batch you can expect 6-10 L. Others would get about 3-5 L.

Hi Vishakha,
Rhere may be many differences but a major one is the method of teaching. In India, it's more of theory always. However, abroad you are exposed to more case studies, real life work experience, practical work, etc. Better infrastructure and better research work abroad. IIT, VIT, BIT, etc. are however well known globally.

Hello Sethu!
VITEEE - VIT engineering entrance examination is a national level examination conducted by the VIT University for admission Into undergraduate programs at its campuses at Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amaravathi.
The Qualifying marks are :
1)General Category- Candidates should have scored an aggregate of 60% in Maths, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2
2)SC, ST, J&K, North Eastern states- Candidates should have scored an average 50% marks in Physics, Maths and Chemistry in 10+2 or its equivalent exam
*The exam will be held online only.
Though the total marks is 125, you will get admission based on your ranks only.
It also depends on the number of candidates and their rankings so that your admission is based on the relative scores only.
To get admission, your rank should be at least below 10000 so that you may get a seat at the main campus or a course of your choice.
There is a way of admission at VIT University which is called categories. The top tankers could only get category 1 which is the normal fee structure.
As the ranks go higher, the students get placed in higher categories where the fee structure increases by 1 lakh for every category.
So, it is advisable to get a rank below 10000 or a score like 100 and above.
All the best!
