Go for B.Tech course only from VIT, Vellore. Never ever think of doing M.Tech or any Masters from a private engineering institutes. They would low rank your profile.

I would suggest the integrated 5 year degree in VIT because firstly it will save you the trouble of again preparing for GATE exam for doing an B.Tech degree in case you feel interested in your field of study.

In my opinion, you should select VIT, Vellore because, VIT, Vellore is a good institute for computer science and engineering.

You can get admission in VIT without VITEEE. But, you have to pay large amount of extra money (3-4 lakhs) if you want to get admission in VIT in management quota.

No, getting shortlisted for counselling does not guarantee admission in VIT. It depends upon the availability in seats for the branch. Ranks under 1000 are eligible for scholarships.

SSN is the best college for you based on the cut-off marks as 40% of seats are filled and the remaining will be filled by the entrance exam conducted by management. Your second choice is NIT but the hostel food in NIT is bad. 3rd choice is CEG

You can attend the counseling by paying counseling fee but it is not refundable and also, you can get under management quota.
