Little bit costly but the value of studying there is high. The campus is good. The faculty members are experienced. The campus offers good placements. Try to get into that campus. Best of luck.

When it comes between VIT and SRM, I would opt for VIT University only.
VIT:
Good placements, better education and exposure. Campuses like Vellore and Chennai are better for all the courses.

No, I don't think so. UPES-Dehradun is also one of the good colleges but it is not better than Thapar, VIT and Manipal University.
I may give you the preference order for the above colleges:
1) VIT University
2) Thapar University
