No, aspirants cannot pursue a Diploma in Chemical Engineering at IIMT Bangalore after 10th, because:
- IIMT Bangalore is known for management, IT, and allied courses. It does not provide polytechnic diplomas in engineering like Chemical Engineering.
- In Karnataka, Diploma in Chemical Engineering is given via Government Polytechnic Colleges and some private colleges under the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Karnataka.
- Admission to diploma courses after 10 is through state-level counseling based on SSLC marks, not directly through IIMT.

To do Chemical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) at Chandigarh University once you have finished your 12 th with PCM the eligibility is very simple:
Basic Eligibility
You have to have graduated 10+2 (Class 12) of a recognised board.
Compulsory subjects:
Physics
Mathematics
And either one of the following:
Chemistry (the most common of the Chemical Engg)
IT / Biology / Computer Science/ Biotechnology Or.
Minimum marks:
At least 50% aggregate in 12th
You are eligible to enroll in the subject due to your PCM.
