Chemical engineering semester exams pose difficulty to students because they need expert understanding of mathematical principles in combination with scientific theory. Students require at least 40-50% passing score in their exams along with more stringent academic standards in some universities. Most tests combine 70 to 80 percent theoretical questions while practical problems make up 20 to 30 percent of the assessment with 20 to 30 questions per paper. Students need to achieve 60-70% marks throughout the semester by dedicating approximately 4-6 daily hours to study and practice consistently.
