Yes, PIBM Guwahati Campus accepts valid scores from national-level management entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, and ATMA for MBA admissions. Candidates are shortlisted based on their entrance exam scores, academic performance, and overall performance in the institute's selection process, making the admission process accessible to students from diverse academic backgrounds.

If I were in your position, I wouldn't wait too much or get stressed about the scores. You already have 2 years of work experience, which is a good advantage and adds value to your profile.

My suggestion would be to apply to colleges that accept MAT scores while also waiting for your CMAT result. That way, you keep your options open and don't lose time.

Personally, I would suggest GIBS Bangalore. What I liked about GIBS is that the college looks at the overall profile of a student and not just one exam score. Along with academics, there is a strong focus on internships, industry exposure, live projects, placement training, and skill deve

Yes, as far as I know, GIBS Bangalore does offer scholarships based on entrance exam scores like MAT, along with other eligibility criteria.

When I was exploring admissions, one thing I liked was that students with good scores and profiles could be considered for scholarship benefits, which helps reduce the overall fee burden.

Generally, scholarships may depend on:

  • MAT score
  • CAT, XAT, or CMAT scores
  • Academic performance
  • Overall student profile

My suggestion:

  • Apply early
  • Check the latest scholarship criteria with the admissions team
  • Keep your entrance exam scorecards and academic documents ready

Symbiosis Skills and Professional University MBA applicants must track SNAP and MAT dates because these exams happen earlier. If you miss the registration for these national tests, you might lose a chance to apply here. Each exam has its own schedule for registration, hall tickets, and results. You need to have your results ready before the university starts its final selection.

MAT is an easy exam compared to other MBA entrances, so you don't need much time for preparation. You can practice sample questions and mocks for mastering the topics. On the exam day, don't aim to solve all the questions. Attempt only those which are from your comfort area. There is negative marking in MAT so don's do guess work or mark any answer option that you're not sure of. You can check detailed MAT prep strategy here:
