Presently, at least the job opportunities for aeronautical engineers is very dim. Hence I will not advise you to take up this branch. I would rather rec that you take up mechanical engineering.

If you are doing aeronautical engineering already, then I don't know why you should be interested degree offered by AeSI. Primarily those people who are working in this field but can not join regular college seek AMIE or its equivalent from AeSI. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information. http://www.aerosocietyindia.in/imis/Portal/Shop/Shared_Content/AeSI_Exam/COURSE_DETAILS_SYLLABUS.aspx?hkey=bc2c390f-693c-4316-aab5-de071703484a.

I am really thrilled with your dreams. Yes, we must dream big. Only big & wild dreamers were able to change the world. Firstly study well. Study not for getting marks but for understanding concepts. Then seek admission in IIT Mumbai's aeronautical branch that is considered best. Here too emphasise on learning and not merely getting good grades. Once this happens, you will be picked up by big companies with best salary. Here utilise time to think of your dreams and work now to fulfil them. That's all!

There are 3 ways to become pilot after class 12th in India.
1. Join in a DGCA approved flying school and complete your Private Pilot License (PPL) / Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and join as a pilot in an airline.
2. Complete your Bachelors in aeronautical engineering and then go through the above mentioned way.
3. Apply for exams like National Defence Academy (NDA) and become a government trained pilot with free of cost training. As of me, I suggest you to go through the 2nd way because once your aeronautical engineering is completed you are having a backup in life also you will be covering all the basics of aviation

I am very happy to receive your query. Let me state that aeronautical field requires expertise in every imaginable area of Science. It definitely requires experts from electronic engineering field. You can join ISRO which inducts young blood from all fields every year or join DRDO that also inducts young engineers of different branches. You can think of taking commission in IAF also. Be assured that electronics engineers are indeed in great demand in aeronautical industry.

Its great to know your desire to pursue graduation after diploma. Yes, normally mechanical branch diploma holders are allowed lateral entry into aeronautical branch. You just need to follow steps required to be taken. That's all. However i would like to advise that opportunities in aeronautical branch in India are very less as compared with mechanical and hence you should obtain degree in mechanical branch .
