The cut-offs for different branches vary from 17K to 70K in this college with aeronautical engineering having the lowest cut-off. Hello Shamsher, The fees at this very old and grand institute are approximately Rs. 50 K per semester. Total fees, hence would be in the range of Rs. 2 Lacs. Aerospace engineering is perhaps the oldest branch here. The fees are likely to change marginally every year, and I would advise you to contact MIT directly for knowing details. The eligibility for admission for aeronautical engineering is minimum 10+2 with science subjects (physics, chemistry and maths) or any other equivalent examination having a minimum of 60% marks in total aggregate. After successful completion of 10+2 one can apply for B.Tech or BE program with above mentioned eligibility. To seek admission in IITs it is compulsory to qualify the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) exam.

Hi,
After your Diploma in aeronautical engineering, you can go for B.Tech lateral entry in any of the streams among CSE, Mechanical, electrical, Civil, Aerospace, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology, Chemical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering or any other. It will be of 3 years rather than normal B.Tech which is of 4 years. It means you can straightway enrol into the 2nd year of your Bachelor's degree. The record of this college in placements is reasonably good. But the situation changes every year and is dependent on the industrial situation. So, do not worry too much about this aspect.

Hello Danish,
I am attaching a link that will give some idea about the cut-off of this college. However, from this year onwards, the criteria has changed. It's no more entrance exam but marks of 12th. Hence knowing cut-off of previous years will serve no purpose.
