Hello Vishant,
Madras Institute of Technology is one of the oldest and reputed Institute for aeronautical engineering. So, it is a good choice.
The students from other state are also eligible to apply but the seats allotted are lesser. The admission is based on your board exam scores alone and there is no separate entrance exam.
You need to apply for a single window counselling program through which you will be allotted seats.

Hello Santosh,
I don't think engineering colleges are asking for any fitness certificate before allowing a student to get admitted to a college. Same is true for aeronautical engineering also.

Hello Sharath,
Lateral admission directly in the 2nd year of engineering is available to students of the state who have completed Diploma from that state. However, you need to visit the webpage of DTE of Tech. Edu of your state to know the eligibility.

Hello Shivani,
After completing your graduation in aeronautical engineering, you can get a job in DRDO, ISRO, IAF or Army. You can think of appearing for civil services exam. You can do MBA. There are plenty of things that you can do.

If you want to make your career in aeronautical engineering then it's better to pursue the same branch right from graduation. Do not think of mechanical engineering. Just concentrate on what you desire & what is your passion.

ISRO recruits professionals from across a wide range of fields. Not only aeronautical engineering background, if you just see the webpage of ISRO, you will come to know this. Almost every year, it inducts young graduates. So, you could be a graduate from any of the different science streams to get inducted.
