For getting admission in an engineering college, you have to appear for CET of your state. If you have not appeared for CET then the only chance is via seats under management quota. You can attempt this.

Fee for aeronautical engineering and other branches is on similar lines. It's about Rs. 4L for a four-year course. But it varies from college to college.

You have actually an excellent ranking. Cut-offs in earlier years for aeronautical engineering branch was about 1L. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about top colleges in Hyderabad.

There are plenty of places where the institutions with acronym IAE are available. If you can provide full form, perhaps better advice can be given.

If you could have given a little more information as to in which CET you have this rank, etc., it would have been possible to give the correct advice. But if it's state-level rank then I am afraid that your lank appears to be on the lower side for getting the admission in a branch of your choice.

Unfortunately, list of polytechnics in order of their merit as decided by an independent study is not available. Hence, you will have to go by word of mouth reputation only. The fee is about 25K.

In India, employment opportunities for aeronautical engineers is actually not much. On the other hand, there are plenty of opportunities for employment in airlines after the completion of aircraft maintenance engineer course. Hence, I would advise you to follow this.
