Eligibility for the course that you are seeking admission to is 10+2, Hence if you have completed 12th then surely and if not the perhaps if diploma is considered equivalent to 12th then you can get admission.

There are different cut offs according to catagory. For general catagory students cut off was at around 2500 for aeronautical branch. You can get detailed info from their webpage.

You should have a minimum of 60% marks in your class 10th and class 12th, as a minimum requirement. To be sure to get Aeronautical, a score of more than 110 would be preferable in MUOET. JEE marks are not considered for the admissions in Manipal University.

It is definitely worth doing Aeronautical Engineering from MIT with the amount of facilities it provides. We have really good and well maintained advance labs. The professors are very knowledgeable and also very helpful regarding projects which might help you understand the concepts better.

To join aeronautics field, you can pursue B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering from any reputed institute like IITs. You can also pursue Aerospace Engineering bit Aeronautical Engineering has better career options. You have to remember one thing that Aeronautical Engineering should be pursued from a reputed engineering institute only because getting a job in this field is very tough.
