Hello Shreya, I have not heard any debarment due to low eyesight. But is it not correctable to 6/6 after wearing of glasses? These days there are laser surgeries that can correct this. Have you attempted this? Fundamentally speaking, there are restrictions to join as pilot in a flying school but not in engineering, to the best of my knowledge. Best wishes to you.

Hello Om Gupta, It's very nice to SEE your interest in becoming an astronaut for India. However in the present scenario ISRO or the government of India have selected pilots from the Indian Air Force to the astronauts for the manned mission which ISRO is planning to launch. There is no college through which you can go and then become an astronaut. In the initial periods all the countries who have sent humans to the space have selected pilots from their respective air forces as the astronauts. So if your intention is to become an astronaut then you have to first become pilot in the Indian Air Force. Best wishes to you.

Hello Anjali, I can understand your anxiousness to get into doing aerospace engineering. But here I will like to ask you query as to why you want to enter aeronautical for aerospace engineering? Presently in India the condition of aeronautical engineers or Aerospace engineers is not very good. This is so perhaps because there is a lack of aeronautical related industry in India. In addition after doing this you do not get any job in the commercial airlines. If your intention is to get a job in the commercial airlines then the best thing to do is B.Sc. In A.M.E. That is aeronautical maintenance engineer. This is after 12th Science and af

Hello Shiv, yes you are right. If a particular branch is not mentioned in the seat matrix then that is not available for a student to select. In India the colleges are finding it tough to get the students of aeronautical for aerospace engineering placed at the end of their studies. As a result fever and few are students are opting for this branch and this results many times in colleges removing this branch from there bouquet of branches. If you are interested only in aeronautical for Aerospace branch then you need to select the college that is offering this branch. Best wishes to you.

Hi Honey, All the branches of engineering are equally good and have tremendous job opportunities. It entirely depends on how well you understand and handle the stream and increase your scope of growth. Different branches of engineering are popular at different places and the popularity depends upon the day to day requirement of that place. To decide on the course, you should analyse your strengths, career goals, interests, personality, aptitude and ability. If you decide based on these parameters you will put in your best effort and will be successful in your chosen field. Always remember, you should pursue a stream/course based on two
