Hello!
The two types of aerospace engineers include aeronautical engineers (They work with aircraft that stay within the earth's atmosphere such as airplanes and helicopters. ). And astronautical engineers (They work with aircraft that operate outside of the earth's atmosphere such as rockets, satellites, and other and spacecraft. ). A degree in aerospace engineering should cover them both. My brother has done Aerospace engineering from LPU. Fee per semester is 98,000 INR without scholarship. Aerospace is a specialised branch of engineering which deals with the design and development of aircraft's as well as space crafts The course cur

Hello!
Aeronautical engineering tends to focus on flight and activities within an atmosphere, a more dedicated field of aerospace studies that usually includes the atmosphere, but also extends into applications in space, where there is no atmosphere. Both Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering are good branches. If you want to work in the aircraft building industry then aerospace engineering is the right course for you. However, if you look forward to work in the space industry, then aeronautical engineering is the right branch for you. My brother has done Aerospace engineering from LPU. Hello Shiv, the placements for fresh pass outs of aerospace engineering are indeed facing huge problems. At least at the present, in India, there are no credible opportunities for getting employed as an aerospace engineer. As a result, majority of the students opt for either of the two choices of going abroad for doing MS or doing MBA. However this situation is likely to change four years from now because of the different policies that the government of India has taken to open up aerospace sector for private enterprise. I hope this helps. Best wishes to you.

Hello Srilatha, Actually speaking there is no hard and fast rule as to which branch of Diploma will be making a student eligible for pursuing graduation in engineering in aeronautical engineering. Some States allow even B.Sc. Science students to have a go at the lateral admission in to aeronautical engineering stream. What matters perhaps most is that irrespective of the branch which you select for Diploma, you should score well and also you need to score well if your state conducts an entrance exam for all those who are desirous of lateral admission. Best wishes to you.

Well which one's best for you depends on your interest. Both fields are very different from each other. LPU is a well renowned university, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. It is one of the few that has embraced international practices when it comes to designing a curriculum. In
