The B.E. admission in MIT Madras are based on Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission(TNEA) counselling conducted by Anna University. The other state candidates are also eligible for TNEA.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 Std. Or their equivalent from educational organisations located outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They must include a duplicate copy of Nativity Certificate only in the form of a soft copy/ digitally signed e-Certificate.
Eligibility criteria : Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in 12th class in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Dear Avinash
In order to get seat in Aerospace Engineering you need to get 60 percentage (50 to 55 percentage for sc & st).

Engineering is a costly course in the country. I doubt if there are scholarships available for the course because even the IITs don't provide for the same.

I have the same ambition as yours. Just go for aeronautical engineering (but remember that the vacancies are very few that is in single digits only) from any IIT or if you work hard then it might be possible you can get IISER or IISC-Bangalore. These are the students who get placements in ISRO, DRDO, etc. They do not have to work hard their course curriculum are relatively same as needed by the organisation. Now, if you are unable to get it, don't worry there is always another door open for you. You can go for B.Tech from any branch except civil and CSE. Then after completing your graduation you just need to appear for the exams conduc
