For being eligible for AFCAT, the degree must be recognised by UGC / AICTE /Ministry of HRD. To apply for AFCAT exam, candidates must be a Graduate from any discipline.

Candidates must ensure correctness of personal detals such as name, DoB and Gender before proceeding further as it cannot be changed or altered in any manner later on. Yes, you can write the AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) after completing your engineering, but only if you have a full-fledged engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech). AFCAT eligibility for technical branches requires a minimum of 60% in a bachelor's degree in engineering. A Diploma alone doesn't qualify. Ensure you meet the degree, age, and other eligibility criteria specified by the Indian Air Force before applying for AFCAT.

You do not qualify based on eligibility criteria of the AFCAT exam. So you cannot apply for the same. For applying to the AFCAT exam, the minimum percentage of marks in 12th with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects is 50%. You should have a graduation degree from a recognised university for the Ground Duty branch with at least 60% marks. Your qualification being only a BA, in subjects not required for your interest, you do not meet this criterion.
