For being eligible for AFCAT, the degree must be recognised by UGC / AICTE /Ministry of HRD. To apply for AFCAT exam, candidates must be a Graduate from any discipline.

Candidates must ensure correctness of personal detals such as name, DoB and Gender before proceeding further as it cannot be changed or altered in any manner later on. In case the information is not accurate, do not submit the form. Please reregister using a different e mail id and provide correct details. Name and DOB entered in form must be as recorded in the matriculation/secondary examination certificate. You do not qualify based on eligibility criteria of the AFCAT exam. So you cannot apply for the same. For applying to the AFCAT exam, the minimum percentage of marks in 12th with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects is 50%. You should have a graduation degree from a recognised university for the Ground Duty branch with at least 60% marks. Your qualification being only a BA, in subjects not required for your interest, you do not meet this criterion. The AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) Exam is conducted by the Indian Air Force twice in a year for the recruitment of candidates in Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches.
IAF also recruits candidates for the grant of PC/SSC for NCC Special Entry Scheme (Flying Branch) and for Meteorological Entry. It is one of the most coveted jobs in Indian Air Force and a dream job for millions of aspirants across India.
