Both are the good programmes, it depends on your interest as to which programme do you want to join. The candidates pursuing B.Sc. In Agriculture can find a lucrative career growth in various private as well as government-based industries. B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering provides higher career growth and high paying jobs in government and private based companies. Both fields have good career options, these courses are totally different to each other if you are interested in agriculture, you want to make your career in the field of farming, horticulture, agriculture, etc. Then go for B.Sc. Being an alumni of LPU I would rather say that the school of Agriculture in Lovely Professional University is among the best place for pursuing the B.Sc. In agriculture. As my brother has done the same from LPU. As B.Tech is also fine but the candidates pursuing B.Sc. In Agriculture can find a lucrative opportunities more as compared to B tech

AICTE has recently made some changes in their elligibility criteria for engineering. Elligibility criteria also vary for state education board and universities. I will suggest you can do it ( with some exception) and bio 12th would definitely be an advantage.
