Review of BHU - Banaras Hindu University.
Placements: In our course, almost 29 students are placed according to the availability of the seats. The lowest salary offered in this sector is Rs. 30,000 per month. Top recruiting companies approach here like Nestle, Patanjali, Britania, Haldirams, etc. Role of food scientists, food analyst, sensory analyst, etc., are offered in this sector. Almost every student got an internship.
Infrastructure: Our department is huge and has all the facilities, including hostels facility for students and foreign students. The food provided is of good quality and hygienic. Healthy food is provided in the mess. Medical facilities are available here. For sports and games, events are organised.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful here, and they support students for their studies or in extracurricular activities. Different function or events are organised for students. They conduct special events for students to encourage their ability or talents. They provide an appropriate platform.
Other: I have chosen this course as the food sector is very interesting and has a vast field or scope for jobs or company. Practical should be improved.
