Admission to BTech at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) requires at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English in Class 12 or equivalent. Candidates must appear for the AMUEEE and not exceed 21 years as of July 31st of the admission year. 

Aligarh Muslim University BUMS in Unani Medicine admission is based on entry requirements - 50.0% in 12th. The course is ranked 27 as per NIRF 2024.

Aligarh Muslim University MBBS programme is a five-and-a-half-year undergraduate course in the field of Medicine, which includes a one-year compulsory rotatory internship. Admission to AMU MBBS is strictly entrance-based. The University takes into consideration NEET Scores to shortlist candidates for counseling rounds and final admission process. 

AMU offers MSc as a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. To be eligible to pursue MSc at AMU, candidates must have scored at least 55% in Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline. Hence, a candidate scoring less that 50% in their graduation degree is not eligible to apply for the programme. Such candidates can pursue MSc at some other college or university. AMU MA is a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. Candidates who have scored at least 50% in Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline are eligible to pursue MA at the university. Aligarh Muslim University provides a two-year Diploma in Orthopaedic Surgery study at the postgraduate level. The course admits ten students. The prices range from INR 18 Lacs to INR 50 Lacs per annum. 

A candidate must clear the AMU B.Ed Admissions Common Entrance Test conducted by the Aligarh Muslim University every year to get admission into this university. The eligibility criteria is candidate must have completed a bachelor's degree in B.Sc./ B.A./ B.Com with at least 50% marks from a recognised College/ Institute/ University. The entrance exam for B.Ed is for 100 marks and syllabus is as like below 

• General English -  25 marks
• Reasoning - 25 marks 
• Teaching Aptitude -  25 marks
• Current Educational Affairs -  25 marks
