To crack the AMU BTech entrance exam, you need to prepare effectively. Here are some tips that will help you clear the exam:

• Eligibility Criteria: Ensure you meet the eligibility requirements for the exam, including educational qualifications and age limits.
• Syllabus: Familiarize yourself with the exam syllabus, which is similar to the 12th standard syllabus, covering subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
• Exam Pattern: Understand the exam pattern, which consists of 150 questions in 3 sections with a duration of 3 hours. Each correct answer is awarded 1 mark, and 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer.

Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with at least 55% marks in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics. For admission to B.Sc. Both Aligarh Muslim University and Jamia Millia Islamia offers BTech course for a duration of four years. AMU BTech will range between INR 15,690 and INR 10.78 lakh, whereas JMI BTech fee is comparatively less i.e. INR 64,600. Talking about the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023 rankings, AMU was ranked 32 in the Engineering category, whereas, JMI ranked 26th spot in the list. Apart from the ranking and fees, JMI BTech placements are also good when compared to AMU. During, AMU BTech placements 2022, the highest package offered was INR 21 LPA. On the other hand, Jamia Millia Islamia the highest package stood at INR 25 LPA during the 2023 BTech placements drive. So, considering all the aspects mentioned here, JMI is better than AMU for BTech.
