AMU MBBS is a five-and-a-half-year undergraduate course in the field of Medicine, which includes a one-year compulsory rotatory internship. Admission to AMU MBBS is strictly entrance-based. The University takes into consideration NEET Scores to shortlist candidates for admission. Therefore candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria of NEET and appear for the same to become eligible for AMU MBBS admission 2025.
There is a major change in the NEET 2025 eligibility criteria in two aspects. The detailed eligibility for NEET UG 2025 is mentioned below:
Eligibility: Class 12 or equivalent with Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects, with a minimum 50% aggregate(45% for Gen-PWD and 40% for SC, ST, OBC, Reserved PWD,) from open schools or recognised boards.
Age Limit: minimum 17 years, as on December 31 of the year of admission
Additional Information: Selected candidates will have to go through a medical fitness examination before completing the admission.

Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. From the academic session 2022, all the central universities along with a few state-deemed universities and private universities started accepting CUET scores for admission to their UG and PG courses.

Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. Talking about the minimum eligibility requirement for AMU UG courses, candidates must have passed the Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The MBBS programme at Aligarh Muslime University is a five-and-a-half-year course including one year of compulsory rotatory internship. The course is offered on campus by the Department of Medicine, AMU and off campus by the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College under the Faculty of Medicine, AMU. The J N Medical College consist of twenty-five departments and the Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College consists of seven departments based on different kinds of medical practices such as Anatomy, Anaesthesiology, Biochemistry and more.
