AMU has a pre-defined set of eligiblity criteria for admission to the various BSc specialisations that it provides. The eligibility crietra vary across the specialisations. In general, a candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in Class 12 with relevant Science subjects to be eligible for BSc admission at AMU. The relevant subjects may vary depending upon the choice of specialisation. Further, candidates must not be more than 24 years old as of July 01 in the year of admission.

Yes, AMU offers various BSc and BSc (Hons) programmes. The duration of these UG-level courses is either three or four years, depending upon the specialisation. The BSc/BSc (Hons) specialisations available at AMU include Nursing, Biochemistry, Computer Applications, etc. AMU BSc admission is provided based on the AMU Entrance Exam scores for most specialisations. However, admission to some BSc courses is based on the CUET UG scores.

Shortlisted candidates have to present a list of documents for verification purposes at the time of admission to the courses offered at AMU. Candidates must carry the following original documents at the time of physical reporting:
- Mark sheet of last qualifying examination (with four self-attested photocopies)
- Transfer/migration and character certificate (If the Certificate is not available, an undertaking on the prescribed format is to be submitted within the due date)
- High school certificate or its equivalent in support of the date of birth
- Five (2.5 x 3.0 cms) recent front-facing colour photographs (with white background)

Aligarh Muslim University BTech admission is based on AMUEEE. This process can only be conducted in online mode. Following the entrance exam, candidates must register for the AMUEEE counselling. Candidates who secure the cut-off ranks decided by the university for various counselling rounds will be allotted seats for BTech at the university.
