Yes, you can get admission here due to good marks in 12th class as well as some score in JEE Mains. Anna University admissions are done on the basis of merit as well as entrance exam scores depending on the course a candidate is applying for. Anna University admissions in BE/ B Tech/ B Arch courses are done through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA). Admissions are made through single window counseling based on TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) merit list which is prepared on the basis of class 12th score. Yes, you can apply for Anna University, but getting admission in that college is a bit tough for non-native of Tamil Nadu students. They take admission through TNEA score and this score is calculated on the basis of your class 12th PCM marks.
TNEA score=(maths marks out of 100) + (50% of chem. Marks + 50% phy).
So, this TNEA score is out of 200 and then the merit list is made on the basis of TNEA score.

Hello Chinmay,
You need to apply for a single window counseling programme through which you will be allotted seats based on your board exam marks. There is no entrance exam for admission. You may refer www.annauniv.edu and www.tnea.ac.in for more information.
