No, you will have to appear for an entrance exam in order to secure admission in a good college for pursuing MCA. No good college will accept admission on the basis of merit or otherwise.

MCA eligibility:
Any graduate who has passed or is appearing for the final year degree examination in any discipline (science, commerce, arts, engineering or any approved university) is eligible to apply. Candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 course or any one year of graduation.

Let me tell you the eligibility for MCA:
1) Any graduate who has passed or appearing in the final year degree examination in any discipline (Science, commerce, arts, Engineering is eligible to apply).
2) Candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10 + 2 course or any one year of graduation. BCA qualified candidate can also pursue MCA.
