Hi Sharab,
No, you will have to appear for an entrance exam in order to secure admission in a good college for pursuing MCA. No good college will accept admission on the basis of merit or otherwise.

MCA eligibility:
Any graduate who has passed or is appearing for the final year degree examination in any discipline (science, commerce, arts, engineering or any approved university) is eligible to apply. Candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 course or any one year of graduation.

You will most definitely need an income certificate. If your family income is less than 2.5 LPA or 1 LPA (will be dependent on what category you are OC, BC, SC, etc)., or else you don't need to keep any kind of income certificate if family income is above 1-2.5 LPA.

You should have done Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks for general category and 45% marks in the case of SC/ST in the qualifying examination with mathematics or one of the subjects at 10+2 level.

MCA is generally a three year course. If you have done BCA or B.Sc. (IT), then you are eligible to get admissions directly in 2nd year of MCA. This is known as lateral entry. It all depends upon the norms of the university through which you want to pursue MCA. Checkout the Colleges official website to know they accept lateral entry or not.

2) Candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10 + 2 course or any one year of graduation. BCA qualified candidate can also pursue MCA.
