AP ICET counselling process is a series of stages which candidates must follow to seecure admission to desired programme and college. The Andhra Pradesh ICET counselling is conducted in following stages:

Stage 1- Release of Andhra Pradesh ICET counselling notification

Stage 2- Andhra Pradesh ICET 2024 counselling registration and fee payment

Q:   What are the documents required for Andhra Pradesh ICET counselling?

A:

AP ICET counselling registration 2024 will commence online. Candidates ranking from first to last will be able to register for AP ICET counselling. Prior to registration process, candidates must have ensured to keep the following documents ready:

  • Andhra Pradesh ICET Hall Ticket
  • APICET Rank Card
  • Transfer Certificate (T. C)
  • Degree Marks Memos/consolidated marks memo

Q:   What after Andhra Pradesh ICET results?

A:

Andhra Pradesh ICET results 2024 will be declared on May 30 by 4 PM. Candidates will be able to download their Andhra Pradesh ICET score in the form of rank when released. Soon after the release of the Andhra Pradesh ICET 2024 results, authorities will commence the Andhra Pradesh ICET counseling registrations for qualified candidates. What is AP ICET?

Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) is a state-level MBA and MCA entrance examination conducted for admission to colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. AP ICET is conducted by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ananthapuramu on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. AP ICET is conducted over a window of two days and two slots. According to APSCHE, as many as 65,000 (approx.) candidates appear for the exam. Around 40,000 (approx.) candidates qualify for the exam. The computer-based test (CBT) is conducted in 43 cities across Andhra Pradesh. The scores of AP ICET is accepted by over 290 colleges across Andhra Pradesh.

AP ICET notification 2024 has been released. APSCHE first released the Andhra Pradesh ICET 2024 notification in newspapers and then released online at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in on March 05, 2024. On release of the Andhra Pradesh ICET notification 2024, candidates will be able to check the important dates, exam pattern, application process, eligibility criteria, syllabus and selection criteria. For AP ICET 2023, authorities recorded the attendance of 90.20% of candidates who appeared for the AP ICET 2023 exam. As per the statistics, 44,343 candidates appeared for the exam out of the 49,162 applicants. AP ICET 2023 results have been announced on June 15, 2023. Q:   When is APICET cutoff released?

A:

Andhra Pradesh ICET cutoff is released after the results are announced. AP ICET accepting colleges releases the list of score and ranks applicable for admissions to the MBA/MCA programme during the counselling process. On the basis of the preferences enetered by the candidates during the AP ICET counselling registration process and AP ICET rank, candidates are allotted the colleges. Q:   What is the qualifying score for APICET?

A:
Andhra Pradesh ICET qualifying score refers to minimum marks required to pass the examination. Candidates meeting the qualifying criteria will be able to appear for the Andhra Pradesh ICET counselling process. As per the Andhra Pradesh ICET qualifying criteria candidates who will secure 25% that is 50 out of 200 hall be eligible for assigning rank on the basis of merit. Whereas, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories have no prescribed qualifying criteria. Qualifying the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam does not guarantee admission to desired programme. Candidates must appear for the counselling process for applied institutes. Q:   How can I calculate score using APICET answer key?

A:

On release of APICET answer key candidates can calculate their probable score before the release of results. Once the answer key is released, candidates must download their response sheet and answer key and know the marking scheme. As per the APICET marking scheme candidates will get one mark for every correct answer. There will be no negative marking for any incorrect answer or unanswered question. Candidates must now mark their response as per the marking scheme and calculate their total score. Final scores will be released on the basis of the objections received.

AP ICET 2024 Hall Ticket Download

Candidates who registered successfully for the exam are issued AP ICET admit card. Test takers can download the AP ICET 2024 hall ticket from the official website. Candidates need to take out a print copy of the admit card and carry it to the exam centre.

Q:   Can I change my exam centre after the APICET admit card is issued?

A:

No request for change in the APICET exam centre will be allotted. Once the APICET admit card 2024 is issued, no request for change of test centre will be accepted by the examination authority. The candidates will have to take the APICET exam at the allotted exam centre only. Therefore, candidates are advised to select test city preference in the APICET 2024 registration form carefully. Q:   I have registered for the APICET exam, why am I not issued admit Card?

A:

If candidates leave APICET registration incomplete, they will not be issued hall ticket for the exam. In case they are not issued the admit card, they have to check the application status or check the receipt of the application confirmation email or SMS after registration. While filling the application form candidates must have ensured to complete all the details in the APICET application form soon after paying the application fee. Incase the payment has been successful, candidates are unable to download the hall ticket they must immediately contact at the helpdesk of AP ICET. The AP ICET 2024 admit card is available for download till the date of examination. It is an important documents that has to presented on the day of examination. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination hall without the admit card.

Q:   Can I leave the APICET exam centre after completing the exam in one hour?

A:
On completing the APICET exam, candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination hall soon after. Candidates will be permitted to leave once the time duration is completed. Candidates must handover their rough sheets to the invigilator before leaving the examination hall. A:

No request for change in the APICET exam centre will be allotted. Once the APICET admit card 2024 is issued, no request for change of test centre will be accepted by the examination authority. The candidates will have to take the APICET exam at the allotted exam centre only. Therefore, candidates are advised to select test city preference in the APICET 2024 registration form carefully. Candidates must select the exam city in which they reside or are likely to be on the exam day, as the first preference.

Q:   How many answer choices will be there in the APICET exam?

A:
Each question will contain four answer choices in the APICET exam. Most of the answers will be similar and it is therefore important for test-takers to analyse the question and then select one option out of the four given options. The test duration of the APICET exam is 150 minutes or 2.5 hours. Within this slated time, test-takers need to solve 200 questions in total. Q:   What is the application fee for Andhra Pradesh ICET exam?

A:

The application fee for the AP ICET 2024 exam is INR 650/- ( for Other Categories); INR 600/- (for Backward Class); INR 550/- (for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes) candidates, which is inclusive of a fee amount and a service tax of INR 29.50. Candidates will be able to pay the Andhra Pradesh ICET application fee in online mode only- Net Banking, debit card, and credit card. On successful payment of application fee, candidates must ensure to note the payment ID and transaction number for future logins. In case of unsuccessful payment status, candidates will be refunded the amount paid within seven working days. Candidates must ensure to enter the details correctly while paying the application fee. Candidates must note that the fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

 

Q:   Can one apply for the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam after the application deadline ends?

A:

Yes, candidates willing to appear for APICET will be able to apply for Andhra Pradesh ICET exam even when the registration deadline ends. However, in that case, the applicant will have to pay a late fee along with the AP ICET application fee amount (INR 650/- for OC & INR 600/- for BC and INR 550/- for SC/ST Candidates). The last day to apply for AP ICET 2024 without late fee is April 07, 2024. Candidates registering after the last date without late fee will have to pay the late application fee of INR 1000, INR 2000, INR 3000 and INR 5000 as per the schedule. However, once the application deadline with a late fee ends, they will not have any further chance to apply for APICET 2024. The AP ICET 2024 exam date has been announced along with the release of AP ICET notification. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 06, 2024. The exam is held in offline mode across 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates will have the option to enter maximum three exam center preferences (based on the availability) while filling the AP ICET 2024 application form. Based on the options entered, candidates will be alloted the exam centre as per the availability. Candidates will be able to check the alloted APICET exam centre on release of the AP ICET admit card. The admit card has been released on May 02. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket for AP ICET 2024 till the date of the examination.

 

Q:   How can I check my Andhra Pradesh ICET results?

Candidates will be able to download their AP ICET results 2024 from cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The AP ICET 2024 results will be declared online. To check the scores, candidates must enter their login credentials: Application number and ICET hall ticket number. The Screen will display the scorecard mentioning the details of candidate, exam, rank, section wise, and overall scores. Candidates must check all the details that are mentioned in the AP ICET result. Candidates must then download and take the print of the scorecard for further admission process. Yes, Of course you can, just apply and go for counselling with proper identification documents and all the necessary and required information carrying papers / documents required for counselling. It is an exam for Andhra Pradesh colleges for MBA and other courses. And, moreover it depends on what kind of caste or reservation you have. So, if you have at least 1-200 rank for OC for opting Andhra University. If you are not OC, you might have luck on your side while counselling. Maybe, you can get a seat. But, one thing is for sure, if you go for Andhra University, you'll get seat in top ten colleges.

Q:   What is the last date of Andhra Pradesh ICET application submission with late fee amount of INR 1000?

A:

The last date of Andhra Pradesh ICET 2024 application submission by paying the late fee amount of INR 5000 is April 27, 2024. AP ICET 2024 registrations commenced from March 06, 2024. Candidates could apply for the exam without late fee till April 07, 2024. Candidates failing to register on or before last date of registration without late fee will be required to pay the late fee along with the Andhra Pradesh ICET application fee prescribed category wise. Candidates failing to meet the first deadline will have to further pay the late fee of INR 2000, INR 3000 and INR 5000 as per the schedule.

APICET answer key has been released May 08, 2024 at 6 PM. Andhra Pradesh ICET 2024 exam was held on May 06, 2024 in Computer Based Test mode. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to download the Andhra Pradesh ICET 2024 preliminary answer key when released. With the help of Andhra Pradesh ICET answer key candidates can calculate their probable score before the declaration of results. In case of any discrepancy in the answers provided, candidates will get the opportunity to raise the objections till prescribed date. On the basis of the objections received the final answer key will be published online along with the declaration of results.
