National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. architecture.

Hi,
In NATA 2017, mathematics will be for 60 marks, general aptitude will be for 60 marks and drawing will be for 80 marks and a minimum of 80/ 200 makes you qualified to take B.Arch course.
Any person with class 12th or equivalent examination and above can appear for NATA. However, only candidates who have qualified an aptitude test in architecture and have secured 50% marks in class 12th or equivalent examination with mathematics as one of the subjects, shall be eligible for admission to B.Arch course.

Hi,
Architecture program is a professional program rather than B.Sc. Even after B.Sc, you have to opt for any professional program for the growth and salary too.
Architecture program will cost you much, if you pursue it from a decent private college. It is better to choose any government college and try to get good grades and concentrate on best project. Even B.Sc gives you good foundation on related subject.
All the best.
