I'll give you the difference between NATA and JEE: Both the exams share the similarity that is they both are conducted for the admissions to the 5 Year Bachelor of Architecture Course in the various colleges of India but the fact that makes them apart (dissimilarity, can also be termed as difference) is JEE Main Paper 2 is conducted for the admission to the NITs and centrally funded colleges Across the nation and the NATA Exam is conducted for the admissions to the B.Arch colleges in India except NITs and centrally funded colleges. NATA is compulsory Exam conducted by the Council of Architecture and most of the institutes /colleges

You should aim for a score of 200-220 for 2-tier NIT and around 240- 250 to get into the best NITs.

Like any other job depends on its industry, so is the condition with shipbuilding/shipping/offshore industry.
Naval Architects may work at shipyards or, alternatively, may be employed by shipping companies, classification societies, consultancies, or research institutes. Naval Architects also work in offshore companies or firms that manufacture maritime equipment, e.g. life-saving appliances or ship engines.
Like any other field, CTC varies with the location and the kind of job. In India the range varies from 25000 - 50000 INR per month. As compared to other countries India does not offer promising industry for naval architects. Even

Go for JEE Mains paper 2 for getting admission in the best college which is School of Planning and Architecture (SPA). Others would be NITs and IITS.
The exam shall have 3 sections: Aptitude, maths and drawing (Memory, 2D Design).
Go for NCERT books first for your preparation.

1. A Complete Self Study Guide for B.Arch 2015 Entrance Examination (English) by P.K Mishra, Arihant Publications
2. Verbal & Non Verbal Reasoning Book by R.S. Aggarwal
