The placement drive for the year 2023 at SPA Delhi will begin from 1 October 2022. The placement statistics for the year 2022 is not announced by the institute.
The SPA Delhi in 2021 saw the placements of around 33 students in the BArch program and around 22 students in the MPlan/MArch program.
According to the report by NIRF for Architecture programs, the median salary package to BArch students was Rs 5 LPA and for the students of MArch/MPlan it was Rs 5.50 LPA.
When we compare the Placements 2021 with Placements 2020, a significant rise of around 19% was seen in the median package of MArch/MPlan in 2021 and nearly 65% drop was seen in the number of students placed in BArch courses when compared with the previous year.

The official information related to the average offered for the year 2021 placement drive are not released by the institute although the median package information is available in the NIRF report 2022.

The institute has not released any official information related to the number of rounds during the placement process but as per our general understanding, the number of rounds varies depending on the company and the process of recruitment. The placement process involves multiple rounds, usually these are Group discussions, Written tests, technical interviews and HR interviews.
The number of rounds also varies based on the level of the position for which the student is being recruited. Usually for higher positions the number of rounds is higher and more extensive.
Interviewers and their Designation at SPA Delhi:
At SPA Delhi the interviewers for placements vary depending on the company and the process of recruitment. Usually, the interview panel for placement process may include HR representatives and technical experts.
SPA Delhi has a placement cell that coordinates with companies for recruitment and manages the placement process. The institute has not released any information on the positions of the members in the placement cell although the team may include coordinators, Placement officers and other staff for support who assist with different aspects of the placement process.

Personal Interview rounds at SPA Delhi:
The institute has not released any information related to the duration of PI rounds for the placements however usually the duration of PI rounds depends on various factors such as the number of candidates, the position for which the recruitment process is conducted etc. In general cases PI rounds has a duration from 15 minutes to an hour, in exceptional cases it exceeds one hour.
