Being an alumni of LPU I would like to share certain some key insights related with architecture Programme as my cousin has done the same from LPU:
Eligibility: Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and pass with 50% aggregate marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics
or Pass with 50% in Diploma (any stream) (3 years) recognised by Central/ State government. (with Mathematics) or equivalent, subject to qualifying marks in NATA 2021 or JEE Main (Paper II) or qualifying marks in any specially designed aptitude test in Architecture conducted by the competent authority of the Central/ State Governments (as/if allowed by statutory body for 2021-22)
The following are the Basic programme outcomes :
PO1 : Design Thinking and development : Apply various methods to assess, analyze and propose design scheme for built environment typologies. PO2 : Skill development : Interpret document and present in graphic form all elements of building design manually as well as digitally. PO3 : Modern tool usage : Apply and integrate various software applications in design process. PO4 : Technical know-how : Analyze evolution of human habitat, various materials, techniques and technologies, its influence through ages. PO5 : Legal Compliance : Apply knowledge of legal and regulatory framework and codes of practice in establishing and managing organizations. Highlights of the Programme :
1)Approved by COA (Council of Architecture, New Delhi) for Indian Applicants only.
2)Approved NATA Test Centre at our campus. Credit Transfer
Student after successful completion of 2 years. At LPU may be given option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of programme subject to conditions and norms of regulatory bodies. For requisites and other clauses. International Exposure Option
Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. Student may be given an option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions.

As you ask about B.Arch from Chandigarh University, As I am not from this branch but I can give you my review about Chandigarh university. Currently I am student of second year engineering from this university. So here are the good things about university:
1. Excellent infrastructure and most important it is growing day by day.
2. Good and supportive faculty.
3. Well-equipped labs.
4. Hostel facility is very good, you don't have to worry about anything except food a little.
5. Placement oriented guidance.
6. Easy reach to higher authority of university.
7. No ragging. I never seen a single ragging case in my first year, seniors are so much supportive.
8. Students from all over the India even foreign country too. Here are the few cons not bad but need improvement
1. Open playground for cricket and football is not in very good condition as most of the time it is equipped for some events (New ground is almost constructed so no longer any issue with that).
2. Sometime focus too much on assignments and lab file work instead of practical knowledge. Although written work is also important but it can be improved. Apart from this no other issue with the university, CU is really good and a place where you want to spend few years of life and remember those years as best years of your life. And university is approved by UGC, AICTE and other necessary councils.
