School of Architecture, CMR University offers seats to candidates in the BArch programme based on NATA or JEE Main Paper-II score. CMR University also conducts CMRUAT for admission to BArch and other UG and PG courses. Aspirants with a valid score in any other entrance exam are exempted from appearing for CMRUAT. Once selected, candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat.

Aspirants must pass Class 12 examination with at least 50% aggregate overall and 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board to apply for BArch course at School of Architecture, CMR University. Besides, candidates who have passed a three-year Diploma after Class 10 with Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC students) can also apply for the BArch course.

School of Architecture, CMR University offers scholarship to BArch students based on CMRUAT score. CMRUAT is an in-house entrance exam conducted by the university in online mode. Below is the detailed criteria for the scholarship:

Well, it is not compulsary but showing portfolio of your drawing, sketching, and creative abilities can boost your application, particularly for admissions to popular institutions also it is used if you appling for any scholarships.

No, the Council of Architecture (COA) does not recognize B.Arch. degrees obtained through distance learning or correspondence courses due to the practical and studio-based nature of architectural education.

You will have to get minimum of 50% marks in your class 12th with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as your mandatory subjects to even apply for the NATA test. If you have completed a Diploma with maths as a compulsory subject then also you will be eligible to sit for the NATA exam.

Well frankly speaking, it depends on your interests. But Many students claim that Architecture is a difficult subject. The course looks difficult to do as you will face challenges like Time Commitment, Heavy Workload, Field that is very much Competitive.
Not to forget that not everyone is suited to pursue a career in architecture, and it is important to ask yourself some questions to check if this field is the right choice for you or not.
