Hi, for discussing the life and experiences at Don Bosco University, Assam, you will need to have a little knowledge of north-eastern culture, climate, etc. Nevertheless, I will be putting here some of the summarixed experiences of students studied at the DBU, Assam- 1)The DBU is located at the gateway of Nort-East India and it has 3 campuses. Hi, the Don Bosco University Hostel for Male and Female has the same fee structure and accomodation necessities supplied. The fees for academic year 2023 for hostel is Rs. 72,000 INR. while the food and accomodation charges are Rs. 33,000. while, the admission fees is over 1000 Rs and the Caution deposit is Rs. 5000. Resevation of Hostel Seat can be done only after the payment of the first semester fee. The Hoste fees for the Azara Campus are inclusive of room charges and food at the campus Canteen located near the Hostels. Whereas, I can also list out some of the PGs nearby the DBU, Assam-

Hi, for admission to B.Tech programme at Assam Don Bosco University, a minimum of 45% aggregate marks is reqired. A Diploma or a B.Sc. Degree from an AICTE approved University is also mandatory. At least 50% in the aggregate and 50% in the aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates should have appeared for JEE, any State Entrance test or the Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test (DBU-GET). One who had passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology examination with atleast 50% marks are accepted here. for admission of lateral entry, A minimum of 60% agrregate in dipoma degree in relevant subjects such as Agric

For an OBC candidate, the probable minimum marks to qualify for Assam CEE is 77 to 70. If the candidates are able to secure the minimum marks, then they will have higher chances of admission, however it will not be guarateed as many other factors are also considered for allotment. Candidates securing 77 marks who reported in the 1st counselling with PCM% in 12th Examination below 63.66% will also have a higher chance of admisison into their preferred college and course.

Hello,
According to the previous year's cut off, a candidate belonging to the SC category scored 546 marks and the college allotted was Guahawti Medical College, through the state quota.
So a safe score for your category would be 540+ marks, and chances are low, of you getting a government medical seat in Assam.
