Both are interdisciplinary courses. You will face a lot of difficulties since both are of entirely different subjects. But if you interest, you can go for astrophysics.

Hello Amal Das, You have given list of all very interesting, the latest specialisations and asking for scope. Okay. Let me attempt. Astrophysics is comparatively old subject and it's scope is limited to research and hence if you are really fascinated & interested in research, you should not venture. Data Science has tremendous scope in the times to come. AI of course goes hand in hand with data Science and is being increasingly used. Biotechnology too had very good potential in India keeping in mind the requirement of increasing productivity of our farmers. Nanotechnology is another subject which promises great things but is yet to pro

Hi Amal,
Yes, astrophysics has a very good scope in future. There are many research projects going on astrophysics and you can easily get a job after completing this course. Every country is investing money in this field, including India also. So scope is good.
Best of luck.

Hi,
If she is able to score good marks in JEE Advance, she may opt for IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology). It is the autonomous body under Department of Space. They offers B.Tech Aerospace Engineering and all the courses related from Space Science (from UG to PhD). You may check on their website. Hope this helps.

Hi Dollar,
First thing, you need to have maths as a compulsory subject in class 12th. Secondly, there is no such post of research astronaut (and there is no direct posting for astronaut). To be the research scientist, the ideal path is B.Sc. Then, M.Sc and Ph.D and a lot of industrial experience in research sector (with lots of publication, patents etc.). For Bachelor's level, I don't think that there is any (good) college in India who offers cosmology or astronomy or astrophysics at Bachelor's level. You may check of the website of IIS Bangalore (Indian Institute of Science). They offers some certifications course in Astrophysics. Hope
