Upto 5 is acceptable. I am afraid 20 is a huge number and 62% is not too great a score.Try in less competitive countries like Portugal, Ireland, etc.

Easy or hard depends on the student profile. You will require the admission offer to be eligible to apply for the visa anyways and rest will depend on your application pack.

There are many areas you can choose from like VLSI, Nanotechnology, Embedded sciences etc. You can do your Masters in a specialization you are interested in. Choose a sector which is versatile like power generation, embedded systems etc because in EE many areas become obsolete like telephones etc. You can also check the SOL of Australia and see areas in demand and then choose.

Please refer to the link provided below for a list of colleges which offer courses in higher studies (Masters) in Australia. You should be able to navigate to a college of your choice and check if you are eligible to apply to the particular college:

I don't understand how an university will give you a PR. You should check the Skilled Occupation List and get to know about the professions in demand, remember you have to first get a job. Talking about universities, it is always good to enrol into a top ranked university having strong industry network, however, getting a job will only depend on your own talents and academic performance. University of Melbourne is one of the best.

Every country has its pros and cons and also it depend on what exactly you are planning to study and where you want to settle. Australia is slightly expensive than Canada and you have to complete two academic years to gain the work permit which is overlooked by many. Canada on the other hand is very selective and if you don't have high academic grades chances to study in Canada is less. In terms of acceptance rates Australia has more options.

It totally depends on the applied university. Many universities don't consider correspondence students. So kindly contact the university.
