Australian Catholic University has mentioned that it is not necessary to be a Catholic in order to study there. Across the university, students and staff, there are people of all faiths. Though ACU celebrates Catholic faith on campus in different ways, admissions there are not just limited to Catholics, and there is a space for all faiths. The university has also mentioned that it does not expects all of its students and staff to share a single set of beliefs.
