If you want to opt for B.Tech then do study till class 12th. It will prepare you for the coming years of your B.Tech. See if you want to end your school in class 10th and start pursuing higher studies, that is fine but it is your choice. Since you are saying you want to do B.Tech then I would suggest you complete your 12th and then directly do B.Tech. You can opt for Diploma after 10th and then do B.Tech through lateral entry.

If you are interested in the technical aspects of bikes and automobiles then automobile engineering is a good option to look for, B.Tech/BE in automobile engineering is the discipline to choose. If you are more interested towards marketing aspect of automobiles then go for BBA followed by MBA in marketing/graduation in automobile engineering followed by MBA.

You should take automobile engineering. If you want to work in India, then you have work on some projects related to the automobile sector. Attend some workshops and seminars on automobiles. You can also work with some SAE dept. in any reputed college. Working with SAE will give you a chance for the application of the theoretical knowledge which you had obtained during your degree. If you are interested in the design sector, then master your skills in AutoCAD, Catia, Prove, Ansys. You can also do your Masters and apply for any automobile industry. Cheers to your perception. Its good that you shifted your focus from JEE to Masters entrance.
