And, for getting admission there, I think you should give an entrance exam. Yes, you can just check whether they provide lateral entry or not, and is there any kind of entrance exam for it. Most of the colleges in India provide lateral entry.

No, you need to have a minimum of 50% marks in 12th grade and also take GEEE which is the entrance test.
