Automobile engineering degree course is offered by limited engineering colleges in India whereas every engineering college offers a degree course in mechanical engineering. In order to enhance your career growth in the education industry, I will like to recommend you to pursue M.Tech / Ph.D in mechanical engineering in comparison to mechanical engineering. This may also help you to switch career to core mechanical engineering industry.

Yes, automobile engineering has great scope in present situation. If have good CGPA in your academics and a decent score in GRE then you can get admission in German universities. Settling in Germany is quite easier than US and Canada.

Hi,
You can pursue your Masters by scoring good marks in GRE and IELTS. Only country like Germany will be much more concerned about your CGPA. So, you can do your Masters in either US or Canada.
All the best!

Hi Vijay,
It entirely depends on your career plans, you can choose to pursue your Bachelors degree in the same. Doing a Bachelors degree will open up the doors and enhance prospects such as job, or even if you want to do Masters degree. You should choose the stream as per your education background, interests and future plans.

Hi, coming from a BMS background you can look for automotive management programs such as a PG Diploma or M.Sc in automotive management or automotive marketing and management etc. A few competitive programs would require GMAT or GRE scores particularly in countries like USA, Germany and Canada. Australia is a good option too. Check TAFE institutes. A few examples here:

Alternatively, gain a few years of work experience and apply for an MBA.

You need to pursue Masters in automobile engineering. Either, you can try for MS/M.Tech. You can look for any job roles related to IT in automobile industry, and then make an internal transition.
