No, it is not necessary to have B.Tech or BE degree to qualify for an IAF pilot you have to pass class 12th grade with compulsory physics and mathematics. You can join NDA directly after passing class 12th, but other courses like CDAC, NCC, and AFCAT you have to complete graduation

If you wish to build your career specifically in the field of aviation and hospitality sector only, then pursuing this course would be the best option for you, however if you wish to keep your scope open in other sectors as well, in that case you may consider pursuing general MBA programme. Process of admission in Pilot Training course and institute after class 12th Science-
In case you have passed class 12th Science, you may join a CPL (Commercial Pilot License) training programme, if you meet the above mentioned educational and medical standards. You may approach private institutes, fill forms and get started. Most Pilot Training institutes have a Pilot Aptitude Test, which a candidate must clear, in order to get selected.
