Though the main focus is on the literature part, the BA in English syllabus does include Grammar in its curriculum. You'll find the grammar component in the BA English program at a relatively advanced level. It's also important to improve your writing and communication skills.

The CUET exam has a fixed pattern, divided into 3 sections: Reasoning & Aptitude, Current Affairs, and Subject-specific. So, the Reasoning & Aptitude and Current Affairs parts will be the same for every candidate.
For the subject-specific domain, you'll need to prepare from your Class 12 NCERT syllabus because the CUET syllabus is majorly based on it. For the BA in English, this exam will probably test your Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, and Language Skills.
Best of Luck!

The acceptance of the CUET score is subject to the basis of accepting the specific UG courses on offer. Nepalis, are also taken in open under JMI entrance test. You must have passed 10+2 with 50 per cent and more. Make sure you refer to the official JMI admission prospectus
