CUET UG 2026 counselling process will commence in third week of June for top universities like Delhi University. Candidates must check the official admission portal of the desired university to apply for the counselling process. CUET counselling process 2026 is generally held in three stages:
Stage 1- Counselling registration
Stage 2- Choice filling
Stage 3- Seat allotment/ merit list

To appear for CUET UG counselling, candidates must have the following documents or information:
- CUET application number
- CUET hall ticket number
- CUET scorecard
- Class 10th and Class 12th marksheet

Yes, candidate will have to participate in CUET UG counselling process even if they are class 12th topper. Candidates cannnot get direct admission to central universities without CUET. Class 12th marks are generally used for tie breaking criteria only.

No, National Testing Agency does not announce the CUET dates for counselling. The role of NTA ends soon after the declaration of CUET UG results. To know the CUET counselling sates, candidates must visit the official website of university they desire to take admission in. Every CUET participating university will release its own admission through CUET UG schedule.

Participating universities have commenced the CUET counselling 2025 registration. Check below to know the list of universities who have commenced the CUET admission 2025:
- Delhi University started the counselling registration on June 17 at CSAS UG portal
- Allahabad University scheduled CUET counselling registration 2025 to commence from June 30. Due to technical issues, it has been delayed.
- Banaras Hindu University has activated the CAP UG 2025 portal and is expected to commence CUET counselling registration soon.
